Bethesda’s Todd Howard shares details on a cut Fallout 4 vault that was inspired by BioShock.
Fallout is a saga that has become legendary, given that for years fans have been waiting for the fifth official chapter of the Bethesda sci-fi saga, currently still shrouded in mystery.
Net of the fact that Fallout 76 is making up a lot of the ground lost at launch, the old chapters are certainly still particularly popular with the world community.
After all, just recently some modders have given life to the surprising 4K ray traced version of Fallout New Vegas , a timeless classic.
It is also true that Bethesda director Todd Howard has talked about the fact that an idea about a Fallout 5 exists , which would confirm the development of the game , currently only in an unofficial form.
Howard has revealed that there is a content cut from Fallout 4 and that these should have been inspired by another, great classic: BioShock .
During a recent AMA via Reddit, the good Todd spoke of a real underwater Vault that was omitted from the final version of the game.
According to Howard, the Vault 120 was inspired precisely by the Rapture of BioShock , complete with a ” huge octopus sentient living outside it.”
Unfortunately, there are no images or videos to testify to this content cut from Fallout 4 , which could have been truly amazing.
Who knows if in this regard some particularly skilled modder with a lot of time available will try to really replicate the BioShock Vault excluded from the game (we will keep you updated).
In the meantime, someone showed an absolutely definitive and amazing version of the beautiful Fallout 4 New Vegas (obviously unofficial).
