From Bloomberg they assure that it has the code name of Rift and that it would be focused on stealth. It was scheduled for 2023 and now its new launch window would be between May and June.
Almost two years have passed since the release of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla , the last main installment to date of the successful Ubisoft saga, an adventure that has remained alive until today thanks to the different updates and expansions that it has been receiving with the passing of the months.
back to stealth
While we continue to patiently wait for Ubisoft to decide to reveal its next game, now from Bloomberg comes a report that Ubisoft has delayed an unannounced delivery codenamed Rift , which was scheduled for February 2023 , while now its new launch window would be between May and June of that same year.
As detailed in said publication, this game would be a smaller-scale project that would focus on stealth pure and simple , thus trying to recover the lost essence of classic deliveries. It was initially conceived as an expansion for Valhalla , although the project grew and eventually became a standalone title. If all this is true, in it we would control Basim , we would visit places like Baghdad and the main development studio would be Ubisoft Bordeaux.
For its part, we remind you that Ubisoft announced that it plans to reveal the future of Assassin’s Creed in September through a major event in which multiple games of the license will be shown.
